Taco Goop

I'm baking Taco Goop for dinner tonight...I ran out of shells and since I'm on the Atkins I figure what the heck...Goop it shall be! I found a couple of different recipes online and added them to the one I created myself. I mean how can you mess up goop, right? Ill post the recipe after the meal....just in case its craptastic. Time has wings

It has been a while since my last blog...I can blame moving from VA to CA, being 40, the heat, or the fact that I cant remember a password to save my life....but I finally have some time to sit and type about random crap. Life is good.

THE birthday dessert

This is a story of Pie. Although there is no bacon in the ingredients it is a lovely pie indeed. My Nan used to bake me a similar pie for my birthday when I was younger. She is one of those women who doesn't write down recipes...which makes it very difficult for me...I cant remember what color my chonies are without looking much less remember an entire pie recipe. Several years ago I came up with this recipe...I have given it out to two ladies...they both appreciate the finer pies in life.

I could eat the crust alone...

Mmmmm....there is always a bit of leftover custard. I have to sneak eat it before the others get wind and herd to the stove.

thirty-nine

Today is my hubs 39th birthday. Im making Thanksgiving dinner today...smoked turkey, Nan's stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green bean goop, carrot goop, the cranberry sauce that comes in the shape of a can (he loves it, yuck) homemade custard graham cracker pie, pumpkin pie and my friend is bringing the sweet potato goop. Im breaking out the china for dinner tonight...I just haven't been able to come up with a theme song yet...I would want Copacabana but thats just me, he might gag. I will have to dig deep for this one. Hmmm maybe the music from Halo? Not sure if turkey and monks mix well...snoozefest! AHHH I got it!!! Some bluegrass music...he loves cowbell AND banjo! I have to say I've never eaten off of china dinnerware to bluegrass music! Have a great day everyone...I will post pics of the food, I know you are dying for the can shape cranberry visual!

Pork Tenderloin

Im making a pork tenderloin for dinner...do you think adding bacon is redundant? Im pondering adding bacon to everything I cook...that will be one of my new years resolutions!

blogginess

It took me a month to name this blog. A whole month. Why it was important I have not a clue but it was easier to get the hot chocolate stain the dog made out of the carpet. She likes hot chocolate, especially when it is belongs to a human, go figure. Well...I suppose that is it for now. I hope it doesn't take you all a month to decide on a name...or that you ever get stains from dark hot chocolate on your carpets. I wonder if robots would prefer bacon to sausage...im going with bacon.
